Tickled Pink

We are so, SO excited to reveal the news that we are Asda’s new charity partner, joining the awesome folk at Breast Cancer Now. In fact, you could say we’re Tickled Pink. Over the last 24 years, Asda’s Tickled Pink campaign has raised over £68 million for breast cancer causes, and we’re stoked to be joining the campaign and helping to shape its future. In teaming up with Asda, we aim to bring our boob-checking, life-saving message to even more young people across the nation – starting with the 146,000 colleagues and 18 million customers in Asda stores each week. The fact is, those who are aware of CoppaFeel! are 58% more likely to check monthly than those not aware, so that’s a whole lot of people who’re about to join the boob-checking revolution.

Small but mighty

As a very small charity, we owe a great deal of our success to the amazing community and phenomenal brands who help us get our message heard by the masses – which means partnerships like this one have the power to transform our charity and the impact of it’s work. We may be small, but with Asda’s support we have the chance to think BIG. Over the next three years we aim to increase monthly checking amongst 18-24 year olds in the UK from 41% to 52%!  That means an extra 600,000 young people adopting a regular boob checking behaviour by 2024!

The funds raised through this partnership will also allow us to develop new projects and programmes that will help us reach communities we may otherwise not be able to engage with. From devising new digital platforms to bringing on some brilliant boob ambassadors, we’ll be going above and beyond to make sure our message can be heard and understood by every young person with boobs or pecs.

The perfect match

When it comes to trying new things and standing out from the crowd, Asda set the standard very high! We like to think we’re pretty innovative ourselves, and through this partnership we’ll have the chance to make waves and save lives by increasing awareness and understanding about breast cancer in young people. We want to expand our reach with young people from all walks of life, empowering them to get to know their normal, check regularly and act upon any changes. The result? More breast cancers diagnosed at an early stage, when treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher.

We want to encourage more young people to talk boobs, know their normal and take their health into their own hands, giving them the best chance to live well, whether they are affected by breast cancer or not.
