As a generation, we’ve never been more in touch with our emotions and empowered to share how we feel. Whether you’re feeling the vibes, catching feels, feeling the bassline, overwhelmed, or just feeling off — we want you to remind you of one of the most important feelings of all; to feel your chest.

Our ‘Feelings’ campaign features Robyn, Dhvani, and Amber, who were all diagnosed with breast cancer between the ages of 19 and 26. Together they share the range of feelings they faced from the moment of diagnosis through to how they feel today. From feeling a lump, to feeling too young. From the surreal shock of a diagnosis, to fear, and ultimately to self-gratitude for being vigilant and catching it early.

Everyday feelings matter. So do the ones that don’t feel quite right.

By feeling your chest regularly, you can get to know what’s normal for you and see your GP if anything feels off.

Feeling your chest can save your life. Whatever you feel, feel your chest.

But, why do I need to feel my chest?

We’re aware of our everyday feelings,  but we don’t always think about, talk about or take action when it comes to feeling our chests.

You can get breast cancer at any age, but when found early, treatments are more effective, and survival rates are higher. So, whatever you’re feeling, make sure you feel your chest.

Whether you’re ready to start checking your chest or feel like you need more info on how to check – we’ve got you.

How to check your chest using The Self-Checkout

You can check in any way that feels comfortable for you. In the shower, when you’re lying down in bed or in the mirror before you get dressed.

We’ve created our digital checking tool, The Self-Checkout, to support you with discovering how to check your chest.

Be aware of changes that might be signs of breast cancer. Remember that some changes happen naturally if you have a monthly cycle, and can be perfectly normal.

If in doubt, get it checked out.
