Anyone aged 18+ studying at a UK university. No experience needed, just enthusiasm and a bit of time to give. And yep, all genders have breast tissue, so our message is for everyone.

As a CoppaFeel! on Campus Leader, you’ll build and lead a team of enthusiastic students to get your whole campus talking about chest-checking. That could be pancake decorating, drag shows, society talks, or putting up our shower stickers in halls. We’ll be right behind you with ideas and support the whole way.

A typical year might look like:

• Term 1: Recruit your team and run a freshers stall. Connect with other societies to join their events and spread the word.
• Term 2: Keep the conversation going and connect with new student groups.
• Term 3: Recruit your successor and hand over the team.

Around 3 to 5 hours a week, but it’s flexible. We know uni, work, and life don’t leave loads of spare time. Freshers and October (Breast Cancer Awareness Month) are our busiest stretches. Terms 2 and 3 are quieter, so you can set the pace that works for your team.

Not at all. We’ll train you on everything, including how to talk about chest-checking in a way that’s accessible and inclusive.

1. Fill in a short form on our website
2. Have a relaxed Zoom chat with someone from our team about the role and how we can support you
3. If you’re keen to go ahead, register with us as a volunteer
4. Send us two references (personal, academic, or paid work, just not family)
5. Complete one hour of e-learning covering our health messaging, safeguarding policy, and other essentials
6. Join a training day in London or online, your choice. We’ll cover travel, and sort an overnight stay if your journey’s over 2 hours each way
7. We’ll post your t-shirt and team kit ahead of freshers week. Then you’re all set to start saving lives on campus

Becoming a society comes with handy perks like room bookings, promotion, and funding. It also helps your team carry on strong after you graduate. We’ll support you with getting set up.

Yes, absolutely. Some SUs have strict rules on timing, so if it doesn’t happen this year, that’s okay. We’ll help you build momentum so your team’s ready to apply next time.
