The Jurassic Coast
6–12 June 2026
CoppaTrek! with Gi is back for 2026 and we’re hoping to make it our biggest year of trekking yet.
We’re looking for 120 chest-checking legends to join Gi Fletcher and her celebrity captains for the foot-blistering, soul-searching, chest-celebrating ride. We’re once again heading to two incredible locations to take on five days of tough trekking: the Jurassic Coast and the Great Wall of China (we know – we’re excited about these ones too!).
The treks have been designed exclusively for CoppaFeel! by our trek provider Charity Challenge, and will test trekkers both physically and mentally. However, with the right training and preparation, they’re totally suitable for beginners, so we do encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, ages and abilities.
Remember, we’ll be on hand to offer you guidance and support to make sure you feel confident and prepared ahead of the challenge.
Applications close on Sunday 30 November, so what are you waiting for?
6–12 June 2026
5–13 September 2026
Join Giovanna Fletcher and a host of other famous faces to trek the Jurassic Coast, to raise vital funds and awareness for CoppaFeel!.
During this five day challenge, you’ll trek approximately 100km through the spectacular and dramatic landscapes of the Jurassic Coast. You’ll trek past the iconic Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove, and explore the dramatic scenery of the UK’s most iconic coastlines. With coastlines prized by fossil hunters, hidden bays, and breathtaking inland walks, the Jurassic Coast is an adventure-seeker’s dream and the perfect location for a CoppaTrek! with Gi.
Applications close on Sunday 30 November.
Before applying for the trek, please make sure you have read the trip itinerary and our terms and conditions. This challenge will test you physically, mentally and emotionally, so by reading the trip notes you’ll be fully clued up on what to expect on the trip and how to best prepare.
We’re so excited to trek the Great Wall of China! Join CoppaFeel!, Giovanna Fletcher and a team of celebrity captains, on this life-changing trek.
Appropriately named one of the ‘New Wonders of the World’, the Great Wall of China is a truly iconic location. This five-day trek will follow the winding path along the Yan Mountains to the Gubeikou Gateway and take on the famous ‘heavenly staircase’. Exhaustion will quickly be replaced with wonder as you savour the sweeping views of the surrounding mountain ranges. This trek will be challenging, but it’ll also be truly life-affirming.

Fill in the application form to be in with a chance of joining CoppaFeel! on an adventure of a lifetime!
Please bear with us while we go through all the applications – we’ll make sure to contact both successful and unsuccessful applicants in January 2026.
Applications close at midnight on 30 November 2025.
CoppaTrek! with Gi is open to everyone over the age of 18. We welcome applications from people of all ages, genders, religions, ethnicities and backgrounds.
Applications will close at midnight on Sunday 30th November 2025.
We’ll try to get through the applications as quickly as we can but we’ve had thousands in the past, so it may take some time (we’re a very small team!). We hope to be in a position to make offers by the end of January 2026.
We’ll let both successful and unsuccessful applicants know, so please check your spam folders, as sometimes our emails are sneaky and end up in there.
In the meantime, we’re delighted to announce that the One Day CoppaTrek! Challenge will return for another year, taking place in the breathtaking Peak District on 9 May 2026, and the stunning Lake District on 19 September 2026.
Registration is open – find out more and sign up here.
We’d love to have as many new supporters as possible to experience some of the trek magic in our two stunning locations for 2026. Therefore, if you’ve already taken part in a multi-day trek before, we kindly ask that you consider applying for the CopppaTrek! Alumni, rather than the Jurassic Coast or Great Wall of China treks.
Not at all – just a passion for the work we do at CoppaFeel! and the desire to help educate the nation on the importance of chest-checking.
The fundraising targets for the treks are £2,500 for the Jurassic Coast and £4,000 for the Great Wall of China. These targets don’t include GiftAid or the non-refundable registration fee.
We’ve broken the fundraising target into three deadlines: the first deadline is £250 and shows us your intent to fundraise, and the second deadline is usually 11 weeks before we trek, around the time that we need to pay our suppliers. The third deadline is 4 weeks after the trek, and will be for the full fundraising target amount.
Once you sign up, we’ll share a link with you so that you can set up your JustGiving page (our preferred fundraising platform) and start fundraising.
Please see our CoppaTrek! terms and conditions to see exact dates and fundraising amounts required for each trek.
We know that fundraising large amounts can be daunting! But our friendly team will be on hand to offer you support in the build up to the trek.

If you’re successful, you’ll be required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of £495 for the Great Wall of China trek and £275 for the Jurassic Coast trek.
Please note that you can pay your registration fee in two instalments (see the Charity Challenge website for more information). There’s a £10 admin fee to book in instalments.
If you’re no longer able to attend the trek, please let our team know as soon as possible by emailing events@coppafeel.org.
Due to the nature of events, we need to pay suppliers in advance, which means that we’re not able to offer refunds on registration fees or sponsorship.
We recommend everyone purchases travel insurance as soon as they book onto the trek, which could cover you for any losses incurred if you need to pull out. Details of recommended policies can be found in your account area on the Charity Challenge website once you’ve booked onto the challenge.
Please note that a place on future trek isn’t guaranteed, and that fundraised money may not be able to be rolled over.
We ask that everyone reads our full terms and conditions before applying so there are no disappointing surprises.
Our CoppaTrek! challenges are designed to be tough, but achievable. They’ll require a good level of fitness that can be achieved through training.
You will be trekking for up to seven hours a day (Great Wall of China) or eight hours a day (Jurassic Coast) for five days across mixed terrain. But don’t worry – if you’re successful, we’ll provide you with support for training in the build-up.
We try to make sure our treks are as inclusive as possible, and will do our best to accommodate those with health conditions or disabilities.
Many of our previous trekkers have had cancer or are going through active treatment. If this is the case for you, we ask that you do seek medical advice from a doctor or specialist before taking on a trek.
If you have any questions around accessibility or the suitability of the treks for your condition, then please email us on events@coppafeel.org.
All of our trek campsites differ depending on their location.
On the Jurassic Coast trek, you’ll be sharing a tent with at least one other person (a fellow legend). The good news is that these tents will be provided and put up for you!
If you take part in the Great Wall of China trek, accommodation along the Wall varies from lodges to basic village stays, and again you’ll also be sharing with at least one fellow trekker.
There will be toilets and washing facilities at the accommodation, and plenty of drinking water available.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided, and most dietary requirements can be catered for. Please inform Charity Challenge when you complete your booking online and if they need any further information, they’ll reach out to you.
There will be toilets and showers at both base camps. Please note for the Great Wall of China, depending on the season, hot water may be limited in some of the lodges along the wall.
Along the trekking route, toilet facilities will be limited to the great outdoors – so bring toilet paper and poo/zip lock bags! There will be bins for sanitary products in camp.
Most definitely! We are a very inclusive bunch and want everyone to feel at home on a CoppaTrek!. If you have any requests or adjustments that need to be made, then please let us know and we can make sure we factor these into the trek.
Then please email us at events@coppafeel.org and we’ll do our best to get back to you as soon as we can.
