Absolute Collagen’s founder Maxine Laceby already feels a part of the CoppaFeel! Family; having trekked for us in the Scottish Highlands Trek in 2021 and, with her co founder daughter Darcy on our Alumni trek in 2023.
I was inspired after reading Kris’ book, where she shares her own breast cancer diagnosis and journey at only 23. I knew then I wanted to do something to help raise awareness. The Highlands trek was such an amazing experience and I felt truly privileged to hear so many stories from young women whose lives had been changed by breast cancer. I knew I had to do even more.” – Maxine Laceby. Absolute Collagen Co-Founder
Maxine and Darcy’s efforts to fundraise, donate and share their own experience overcoming adversity, to ensure others look after and advocate for themselves, makes them true chest-checking, trekking champions.
Our partnership will involve empowering and educating the audience of ‘Absoluters’ to be more breast aware, amplifying the CoppaFeel! message to make checking part of a monthly routine and celebrating the importance of sharing inspirational stories and healthy habits so we can know our bodies and feel strong in our skin.
Keep a look out for interviews, blogs, content with our wonderful mutual friend and Absolute Collagen ambassador Emma Willis and an exciting event coming soon!
Absolute Collagen are also challenging everyone to Map their Baps in the name of boobs, pecs and chests, with their Map My Baps Challenge! They’re challenging everyone to walk, run, swim or cycle their chosen route in the shape of a chest, and will be donating £5 for every participant. Head to their website for more details and full terms and conditions.
