In the UK, up to 1 million people cannot speak English well or at all [1], and this group is less likely to report ‘good’ health outcomes than English speakers [2].
Providing our health information in a wider range of languages furthers our mission to ensure our information is accessible to ALL young people.
We identified these languages as having some of the highest needs within the UK, and with the people we exist to serve. Working with expert translators and tested with speakers of these languages, we now have 7 languages available to order or download.
We hope these resources plug an information gap among people in the UK whose first language is not English and ensure our checking guidance reaches more young people.
