What a year 2024 has been… We had Sabrina Carpenter bangs taking over our FYPs, BRAT summer spreading the neon green chaos across the globe, and Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour giving us more friendship bracelets than we could count. Some of us were manifesting a man in finance – trust fund, 6’5… You know the rest, whilst others were trying to be very demure, very mindful but also enjoy our BRAT era.
The tea didn’t stop there: Kendrick vs. Drake gave us Distrack Season, and in the biggest plot twist EVER, Oasis reunited (cue all the 90s babes screaming) — and the Gallagher brothers even kept it civil, for now.
Not to mention, cinema made its comeback this year, gracing our screens with Challengers reminding us that Zendaya is queen, Wicked reminding us to hold space and Gladiator 2 making us all ask ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!
Oh, and Moo Deng? Icon. We stan forever.
Meanwhile, CoppaFeel! has been hustling hard to spread our life-saving mission, and *humble brag* we’re pretty proud of what we’ve achieved. Obvs we couldn’t do it without our incredible CoppaFeel! Community, fundraisers, partners and chest champions to name a few, so thank you! So here’s our 204 best bits this year…
January
We kickstarted 2024 with energy, determination, and a whole lotta chest chat. Spreading the chest-checking message far and wide, January was all about setting intentions and we’re here to help you add one life-saving habit to your list: checking your chest.
We launched our Lucy & Yak #BaringAll collection! This fab 8-piece range was all about celebrating you—whoever you are, however you identify—and giving a nudge to check your chest while you’re at it. Baring All proudly put every kind of boob and chest front and center because the more we see and talk about them, the more comfy we all get. And that comfort? It can lead to greater acceptance, awareness, and even save lives. Every chest deserves a bit of TLC (that’s Tender Loving Checking)!
Over in Scotland, the amazing Joanne Bruce took the plunge—literally—with her Looney Dip into the freezing River Forth to welcome 2024. Not only did she brave the icy waters, but she also raised an incredible £1,540 for CoppaFeel! Thank you, Joanne—you’re a total chest champ!
February
Ah, February—a month all about love, whether it’s your mates, your date, or even a little self-love! We were all in on spreading the CoppaFeel! love far and wide. 💖
First up, we celebrated Student Volunteering Week, and our amazing Uni Boob Teams knocked it out of the park (as always). These legends were busy busting myths, sparking chest-checking convos, and teaming up with societies and departments to make sure that healthy chest chat made its way to every campus nook and cranny. They’re basically the superheroes of self-checking.

Meanwhile, our breasties at Scribbler had us swooning with their cheeky CoppaFeel!-themed Valentine’s Day cards. Nothing says “I care about you” like a card that reminds someone to check their chest, right? Because what’s more romantic than a little lifesaving nudge?.
To top it all off, we joined the brilliant minds at the Women’s Health Professional Care Conference to share the love (and knowledge) with healthcare professionals. After all, spreading the chest-checking message is a team effort, and we’re proud to keep the convo going in every corner.
March
Spring came marching in, and we were ready to put a bouncing spring in your step! 🌷 Here’s how March kept us buzzing with chest-checking action and inspirational moments:
Jersey Roadshow: Our brilliant Boobettes absolutely smashed it on the island, delivering 12 talks and stalls in just two days! They reached nearly 2,000 young islanders, spreading chest-checking wisdom. Major round of applause to these legends for their energy and impact!
Books for Boobs: Keeley Witham’s fabulous charity auction raised a whopping £2,500 for CoppaFeel!. Combining books and boobs? Absolute genius.
Bath Students’ Union: These champs celebrated International Women’s Day in the most extra way—by turning it into International Women’s Month! They raised an incredible £4,500, making it onto Good Morning Britain with Bath Women’s Rugby Team. Talk about showing the world how it’s done!
Mother’s Day Magic: We teamed up with Asda Tickled Pink for their Mother’s Day Checklist campaign. We are passionate about sharing real breast cancer stories and this month we shared Ruby’s story. After discovering a lump at just 19, Ruby learned the importance of making chest-checking a regular habit early on. Now, she’s passionate about using her experience to inspire other young people to get to know their chests—so they feel confident to take action if something doesn’t feel right.
CoppaFeel! runners flooded the streets of London, Paris, Manchester and Brighton to take on an incredible marathon challenge and raise over £18,000. The one and only Vix Paine organised a beautiful and empowering charity photoshoot, raising a truly phenomenal £9,000.

Not to mention, we had you all fooled on April Fool’s day with our Nipple Eyelash collab with Eylure! Whilst these ey-tems weren’t actually available, Eylure continued to support our mission later this year, we <3 you Team Eylure!

As the days got brighter, so did our determination to spread awareness and keep everyone feeling confident about knowing their chests. We also shared the sad news that our founder, boob chief, colleague, friend and queen of glittering turds, Kris, had died. Kris was the biggest promoter of being ‘alive to do those things’. She approached life in a wildly creative, fun and fearless way, and showed us that it is possible to live life to the full with cancer. As we continnued to honour Kris’ legacy, here’s all the incredible moments that may had to offer…
Continuing to highlight real breast cancer stories from the CoppaFeel! Community, this month we shone a spotlight on Ella’s story. Ella was diagnosed with breast cancer at just 23 years old but her journey to diagnosis was not a simple one. Due to Li-Fraumeni Syndrome, Ella knew breast cancer was a high possibility, however she didn’t think it would happen whilst she was so young. Ella is keen to continue to advocate for early detection and wants to use her voice to ensure all young people know that breast cancer can affect them too.
323 past trekkers joined us in the Yorkshire Dales to walk either a full or half marathon, raising an incredible £167,975! A massive thank you to everyone who took part in the Yorkshire Dales Trek. You are all amazing and we LOVE YOU. It was such a special event, full of trekking, dancing, glitter and of course celebrating life in honour of our founder, Kris.

Our partner Absolute Collagen also challenged you to walk, run, swim or cycle your route in the shape of a pair of boobs, pecs or chest whilst tracking it on Strava in their Map My Baps challenge. For every pair of boobs, pecs or chests mapped and uploaded onton social media, Abolsute Collagen donated £5 to CoppaFeel! – did you Map Your Baps?!
Adam Stevens’ amazing cycling challenge spanned the entire length of the UK, and included the 3 highest peaks. Adam raised a fantastic £1780 – Go Adam!
Last but not least, we officially welcomed 31 new Boobettes to the team!

Headed up by Gi Fletcher Fletcher and her team captains – Candice Brown, Amy Dowden, Harry Judd, Faye Winter, 120 trekking legends trekked 100km in the Brecon Beacons over 5 days. We cannot thank our volunteers enough for the vital role they play in spreading our chest checking message.

The exhibit highlighted Kris’ journey, from her diagnosis to the founding of CoppaFeel!, as well as the charity’s impact and Kris’ personal approach to navigating death. It was a space for reflection, joy, and hope. ✨
Addressing Medical Racism: October was also about having difficult but necessary conversations. We teamed up with Amaliah to address the systemic biases in healthcare that contribute to disparities in breast cancer outcomes for South Asian and Black women. It’s time to ensure equitable care for all, and we’re committed to fostering open conversations and supporting advocacy efforts.
