This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Avon has also launched their second Boob Census. Based on research conducted among 7,000 women and girls globally, the Census highlights the importance of breast awareness conversations, particularly in the areas with downward trends this year.
Our Health Information Manager commented on the census:
We need to keep educating people, encouraging them to check themselves and empowering them to seek appropriate medical advice if they notice any unusual changes. The 18-24 age group are most likely to never check. At CoppaFeel! we know it’s vital to instill healthy checking behaviours and awareness of the signs of breast cancer from a young age.”
