A week on and we have just about recovered from Festifeel. If you came, saw and partied, you’ll know it was a monumentally epic occasion and we couldn’t be happier with how it went down. Here are some of our highlights. With HUGE thanks to the whole team at House of Vans for making this happen. You make the Festifeel world go round and are endlessly patient with our bonkers ideas. We love ya.
We were bewitched by B*witched
Once more our Patron and Festifeel curator Fearne Cotton pulled out all the stops to bring us an epic line-up, topped off with an ABBA medley and lesson in Irish Dancing from B*witched. Speaking of Irish people we love, we were lucky enough to have the lovely Angela Scanlon hosting the main stage and bringing mega-lols both on and off stage. From a dreamy set by Rae Morris to all the nineties nostalgia from Melanie C & Groove Armada, we had some incredible music and no excuse not to be on the dance floor. Huge thanks to Groove Armada, Melanie C, B*witched, The Big Moon, Annie Mac, Ten Tonnes, Oh My God! It’s The Church, Isaac Waddington, Krystal Roxx, Abbie Mccarthy, The Mac Twins & Arielle Free for making dreams come true.
We transformed the House of Vans tunnels into a sensory zone, filled with touchable, huggable, stroke-able fun and frolics. Sponsored by the lovely folk at Xander & Bow, we brought our #TrustYourTouch campaign to life, with gloriously touchable pluck and hug balls and mind-blowing levitating boobs from Guinea Pig Global, life size dancing ladies (designed by the lovely Hanna Rawr and projected by Light Fantastic), plasma balls from the folk at Find Me A Gift and some seriously tactile treats to show you that the power really is in your hands.
Boob town was back in business with another epic selection of traders ready to cater to your boob-loving needs. From the delectable Raspberry Nipple ice-creams being offered out by Oppo to the Avon manicure station, embellishment from the glitter-loving gals at Jingo (bio-degradable, obvs), Extract Coffee, Wafflewands and doodle-covered vans courtesy of Emily Coxhead,Saroj Patel and Sprankenstein, we had it ALL, and we can’t thank our lovely traders enough. Oh, and if you marvelled at our multi-coloured ballon arch of dreams, that was down to the lovely folk at Bubblegum balloons. They are WIZARDS.
The team at Avon UK took over Casa CoppaFeel! to bring you a day of workshops and a panel with some seriously banging babes. From whittling a wooden knife to making your own flower crown, learning to make tassels, tote bags, or create your own scunchie, there were plenty of opportunities to get hands on. Thanks to A Lesson In Nature, 3Acre Blooms, Aesthetic Laundry,Rude,Lucie Houchin, Ashley Wilson and our mate Stacey. You rock.
The comedy stage served it
Curated by our pal Jayde Adams, our comedy line-up smashed it out of the park to a chorus of belly laughs and some seriously great boob chat. We were so proud to have mega-babes Zoe Lyons, Luisa Omielan, Jen Brister, Eleanor Tiernan, Stevie Martin, Shappi Khorsandi and Lauren Pattison take to the stage. Not to mention our host with the most, James Hancox. A dreamy bunch.
Thanks to street artist Robo J who painted a #TrustYourTouch mural for our ticket-holders to marvel at. He was just many of the lovely folk working away behind the scenes to make Festifeel look EPIC – of the many, many people who helped we’d like to say a huge thanks also to the teams at Live FX, Cover It Up, Zero Degrees Events, Silent Noize,Happy Ending, Cult events and Black Sparrow for making it look seamless.
A special mention has to go to Sarah Carless, Hannah Braid & the team at Chalk PR. We could not do it without you.
Whether you got your Booberang on in our photo-booth, posed for snaps with one of our photographers or got caught on camera screaming along to Melanie C, it’s down to the lovely photographers and videographers who came down to capture the event. Big love to Derek Bremner, Josh Shinner, Laura Palmer, Giles Smith, Mike Palmer, Georgette Mrakadeh-Keane, Sam Thomson and Edd Gamlin for making Festifeel look (even more) awesome on film.
