There are loads of ways to fundraise at school or university. It’s a brilliant chance to gain transferable skills like organisation, marketing and event planning, while making a big difference to CoppaFeel!. 

Does your school or university society have a chosen charity each year? We’d be super grateful if you chose to nominate CoppaFeel! and fundraise towards our life-saving mission throughout the year.

If you’re a teacher looking to support our work, we’d recommend checking out our lesson plans and school resources too. Fundraising can be a great introduction to our charity, and a first step in educating pupils about the importance of getting to know their body and encouraging them to adopt healthy behaviours from a young age. 

 

Here are some of our favourite ways to fundraise:

At school

  • Take on a sponsored walk. This could be around school, in your local area, or you could track your journey on a fitness app and compete to create the most imaginative pattern (if you’re looking for shape ideas, we’d always recommend mapping some baps). 
  • Organise a bake sale. Check out our top tips for organising a bake sale.
  • Host a movie night. Charge an entry fee and set up a snack bar to bring in extra cash. 
  • Away with uniforms, if just for one day. Ask students to pay a few pounds to ditch their uniform. To add an extra spin, you could ask people to come wearing the most glittery, over the top, fancy dress outfit they own. 
  • Sports day! Rope in teachers and parents too.

 

At university

  • Boobball tournament – It’s dodgeball that makes a difference. Get teams from different societies to compete against each other. Teams can enter by making a donation to your fundraiser (£50/team or £10/person is a good starting point if you’re not sure what to charge). We can even lend you some boob themed dodgeballs!
  • Take on an active challenge. You can organise your own or sign up to one of our events
  • Pink training session! Ask your teammates to pay £1 and turn up to training in a pink outfit (bonus points for wearing a bra on top of your regular kit). Training might not go as normal, but lots of laughs and great pictures are guaranteed. 
  • Cosy craft session. Decorate t-shirts or tote bags, try your hand at pottery, make friendship bracelets, or crochet a boob themed stress ball. The choice is yours! Sometimes we need a little push to slow down and create something with our hands, especially in the midst of busy schedules and endless deadlines, and fundraising for CoppaFeel! can be just that. Here is a quick guide to planning the perfect craft session.
  • Organise a themed social.
  • Take on a marathon challenge and ask people to sponsor you. Don’t worry, we’re not talking about running (though you could do that too!). Instead, grab some friends or even your whole society, and challenge yourself to keep up an activity for 24 hours. Anything goes, from reading, cycling, dancing, doing crafts to circuit training. You can also ask people to sponsor you for a set amount of time, so the more donations you get, the longer the challenge lasts.
