Here at CoppaFeel! we love a reason to celebrate – when we have a great hair day, when we make the perfect cup of tea, and every time someone checks their chest. Well, our brilliant pals at Scribbler have given us an incredible reason to celebrate – they’ve raised over £100,000 to support the early diagnosis of breast cancers in young people. Wow!
Since 2019 Scribbler have been our chest friends. They’ve been creating cheeky, spicy and punny cards for you to send to your loved ones each Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and Christmas – helping to remind their customers that chest checking is an all year round habit. Wiith every purchase of their charity cards, it has helped us to educate, encourage and empower young people across the UK to be equipped to find breast cancer at its earliest stage. Because we know that when found early, treatment of breast cancer is more successful.
Not only that, but the wonderful team at Scribbler went *extra* with their fundraising – from treks to tattoos, bucket collections to ultra-marathons.
To put £100,000 into context, that’s enough to:
💌 Send 6,400 awareness packs to workplaces and community groups to help them spread breast cancer awareness through our resources, OR
💌 Provide 256,000 young people with a handy resource to display in the shower, educating them on the signs and symptoms of breast cancer and acting as their monthly chest checking reminder, OR
💌 Enable our volunteers to share their personal experience of breast cancer with approximately 280,000 young people, educating them about breast cancer, the importance of getting to know their body and advocating for their health.
Pretty amazing, right?
