CoppaTrek! with Gi

120 chest-checking legends join Gi Fletcher and her celebrity captains for the foot-blistering, soul-searching, chest-celebrating ride. In 2026, we headed to two incredible locations to take on five days of tough trekking: the Jurassic Coast and the Great Wall of China.

The treks are designed exclusively for CoppaFeel! by our trek provider Charity Challenge, and test trekkers both physically and mentally. With the right training and preparation, they’re totally suitable for beginners, so we always encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, ages and abilities.

We’re on hand to offer guidance and support to make sure you feel confident and prepared ahead of the challenge.

We’re done Trekking for 2026, but you can sign up to be the first to hear where we’re heading in 2027.

  • I have no words, it was truly everything and more... I loved the upbeat spirit, even in the rain.... The organisation was amazing and you all worked so hard, and Charity Challenge were just fantastic!

  • I don’t even know where to begin, I’m still struggling to put how amazing the week was into words. I have never felt so alive, supported, and at home with people I’d only just met. The chance to meet amazing people, walk in stunning scenery, but also feel safe in sharing my story and diagnosis with people who just get it. The walking almost became the secondary aspect of the week, and the love and friendship was just so special. I would do it all again in a heartbeat.

  • It was a fabulous week. I can’t fault anything. We were made to be prepared and aware. However, if not, the CoppaFeel! Team and Charity Challenge leaders usually had what we needed. Everyone shared and cared! A fabulous set of people, overall!

  • It’s hard to put into words the feeling of taking part in a CoppaTrek!. The atmosphere and team spirit is like nothing else. We had the most fabulous team and the support from CoppaFeel!!, Charity Challenge and of course Gi was second to none.

  • I loved the team spirit of a CoppaTrek!. Everyone really was there to help each other and ensure that everyone did the best they could and got what they needed from the challenge. Nobody was left behind and the people we met along the way were amazing.

  • It was one of the best weeks of my life and a privilege to spend time with inspiring people!

FAQs

Applying for a CoppaTrek!

Who can apply to a CoppaTrek! with Gi?

CoppaTrek! with Gi is open to everyone over the age of 18. We welcome applications from people of all ages, genders, religions, ethnicities and backgrounds.

Fundraising

What are the fundraising targets and deadlines?

The fundraising targets for the treks are £2,500 for the Jurassic Coast and £4,000 for the Great Wall of China. These targets don’t include GiftAid or the non-refundable registration fee.

We’ve broken the fundraising target into three deadlines: the first deadline is £250 and shows us your intent to fundraise, and the second deadline is usually 11 weeks before we trek, around the time that we need to pay our suppliers. The third deadline is 4 weeks after the trek, and will be for the full fundraising target amount.

Once you sign up, we’ll share a link with you so that you can set up your JustGiving page (our preferred fundraising platform) and start fundraising.

Please see our CoppaTrek! terms and conditions to see exact dates and fundraising amounts required for each trek.

Registration and cancellation

How much is the registration fee?

If you’re successful, you’ll be required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of £495 for the Great Wall of China trek and £275 for the Jurassic Coast trek.

Please note that you can pay your registration fee in two instalments (see the Charity Challenge website for more information). There’s a £10 admin fee to book in instalments.

Camping, fitness and accessibility

How fit do I have to be?

Our CoppaTrek! challenges are designed to be tough, but achievable. They’ll require a good level of fitness that can be achieved through training.

You will be trekking for up to seven hours a day (Great Wall of China) or eight hours a day (Jurassic Coast) for five days across mixed terrain. But don’t worry – if you’re successful, we’ll provide you with support for training in the build-up.
