Encouraging
you to check your chest regularly from a young age.
Anyone can be affected by breast cancer, but a quarter of young people don’t realise they are at risk. It’s why we’ve launched our new campaign to encourage you to get to Know Yourself. Know your body, know it’s quirks, know how it changes, and if you notice something unusual for you, speak to your GP. Knowing what’s normal for you means you have the best possible chance of early detection, and early detection saves lives.
We want to ensure all breast cancers in young people are diagnosed early and accurately.

We take our message into schools to encourage healthy behaviours from a young age. From lesson plans to support modules, posters to school visits, we equip teachers and educators with the tools they need to talk about breast cancer awareness.
With the help of our student ambassadors, our message reaches campuses and Students’ Unions up and down the UK. Find out more about getting involved from your university by clicking below.
Our volunteers give their time to share their personal experience with breast cancer with the nation. Using their story to inspire others to get to know their bodies, they visit workplaces, schools, youth groups and more. Find out more by clicking below.
We know healthcare professionals, particularly GPs and nurses, play an important role in diagnosing breast cancer early, which is why we are here to support them to promoting our message. From webinars to resources, click below to find out more about our work in healthcare.
We’re lucky enough to partner with some awesome brands and business who work with us to engage their communities and empower them to become chest checking champions. Find out more about our partners by clicking below.
We like to think we’re pretty good at coming up with ways to get the nation talking about (and checking) their chests. We create impactful awareness campaigns that encourage and empower young people to know their bodies. Find out more below.
"I thought of every possible reason that I could clutch at to avoid getting it checked, but then I remembered seeing a CoppaFeel! post that said “Knowing your boobs could save your life." If in doubt, get it checked out”.
Something inside me stopped and I knew right then that no matter how scared I was of this, and no matter how scared I was of the Covid-19 situation, I could not ignore this anymore.”
We want everyone to have the best possible chance of surviving breast cancer. Ideally we want to live in a world where all breast cancers are diagnosed at the earliest stage possible, at which treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Our work allows us to reach more young people across the UK and encourage them to get to know their bodies.
