Cardiff Half Marathon 2025

Whether you already have your own place or you’d like a charity place, join #TeamBoobs for the 2025 Cardiff Half Marathon and help us in our mission to stamp out late diagnosis of breast cancer. 

The Cardiff Half has grown into one of the largest and most exciting road races in the UK. Its flat, fast course passes all of the city’s most breathtaking scenery and iconic landmarks including Cardiff Castle, the Principality Stadium, the Civic Centre and the stunning Cardiff Bay.

Breast cancer can affect any body. That’s why getting to know yours is so important and could save your life. Knowing what’s normal for you means you have the best possible chance of early detection, and early detection saves lives. 

Take on 13.1 miles where every step brings us closer to giving everyone the best possible chance of surviving breast cancer.

JOIN TEAM BOOBS

If you would like a place on Team Boobs, we ask runners to pledge to raise £350 for CoppaFeel!.

As part of our team you’ll receive fantastic support from the moment you sign up, all the way to the finish line. We’ll also provide you with:

ABOUT THE CARDIFF HALF

Organised by Run 4 Wales, this beautiful route takes you past the capital’s most iconic landmarks with beautiful scenery and historic buildings. The predominantly flat and fast course makes it ideal for beginners and elites trying to get that PB!

The race will start outside Cardiff Castle and finish in the heart of the city at the Civic Centre. You can find out more about the route here. 

The race is a member of the SuperHalfs, a global series of the world’s most prestigious half marathons including races in Lisbon, Prague, Berlin, Copenhagen, Cardiff and Valencia.

EVENT ACCESSIBILITY 

The route is wheelchair accessible. The route is predominantly flat but wheelchair users should be aware of a steep hill at 12 miles and ramps on the approach to Cardiff Bay (at around mile 6).

Disabled parking and accessible toilets are available, as well as an accessible event village.
